Shoplifting In A Big Way - A 22-year-old Vernon man is in custody after trying to steal 18-hundred dollars worth of stuff

A couple thought they'd take advantage of the Boxing Week business and they got away with over a thousand dollars worth of groceries.  Vernon RCMP Spokesperson, Gord Molendyk says about 3:15 Tuesday afternoon a couple tried to get away with electronics and groceries from the Real Canadian on 25th Avenue.   Molendyk says officers were called when clerks stopped the man who was trying to shoplift  400-dollars worth of X-Box 360's and 12-hundred dollars in groceries.  He says the woman with him got away with the food.  The 22-year-old is expected to make a court appearance this afternoon.
