There is a new Tax Requisition for Solid Waste (Dumps). This user pay
system will be augmented with a $400,000 Tax Requisition on assessed
property (Both Land & Improvements) for all regional partners. Coldstream's share based on the 2012 assessment rolls will be $48,418.
- Note that even though the Parks Tax requirement is going up $221,565 Coldstreams share is actually going down by $7, 584. Vernon's
partners in this function (Coldstream, Areas B & C) are going down
by the amounts shown in Above table. This is caused by the assessments
in Vernon going up at a greater rate than improvement assessments in our
partners jurisdictions. (Likewise even though there is no increase in
taxes for community theatre, Coldstream will have a decrease in taxes of $6,770
