Water rates in Greater Vernon are going
up by 17 per cent. Vernon Mayor Rof Sawatzky says the board has agreed
that's the increase required, but they'll meet next week to determine
how it will be structured. That includes the concept of water wasters
paying more, while those who conserve pay less.
