DON QUIXOTE VS. CITY HALL When an American gets mad, he says "where's my Gun". When a Canadian gets pissed off he says "Where is my pen, I'm going to send a letter to the EDITOR". When the EDITOR won't publish his letter he sets up his own BLOG page. When I received enough support to get a Council Seat the dogma of the establishment became : "Better to have him inside the tent pissing out, than outside pissing in." (Only time will tell !)

BC Conservative Hopeful Withdraws
Written by Peter McIntyre 107.5 KISSFM Thursday, 10 May 2012 14:13
There's news from the BC Conservative Party in the Vernon-Monashee riding. Former Okanagan M-P Jim Hart has had to withdraw from seeking the nomination due to family issues. Hart was the only person to express an interest in running so far. The party's riding president, Ian Tribes, says they expect other candidates to declare soon, with a nomination meeting likely in September. The party has also announced leader John Cummins will be visiting Kelowna, Vernon and Salmon Arm later this month. Cummins will hold a meet and greet in Vernon May 25th from 12 to 1:30 at the Village Green Hotel. The BCP will hold a Town Hall meeting at the Schubert Centre Tuesday May 15th at 7 pm. The subject will be "Defining Modern Conservatism." Speakers will be Tribes, Scott Anderson, and Shuswap Constituency candidacy hopeful Maureen Walker.
