Fugitive arrested by police officers in Vernon

A Quebec fugitive has been returned home after being located in Vernon. On April 23, Sebastien Tremblay Deschesnes, 26, was escorted to Montreal to face outstanding warrants for robbery,  possession of stolen property over $5,000 and dangerous operation of a motor vehicle. Deschesnes was located and arrested on outstanding warrants by members of the Vernon RCMP. It is believed he arrived in B.C. soon after warrants for his arrest were issued in Quebec. Deschesnes is among four individuals arrested across B.C. as part of the province's fugitive return program
