Swerving to miss a turtle on the road led to a car going into a pond in a rural area of Vernon today.  RCMP say the vehicle left Commonage Road this morning around 10:15 between Roses Pond and Bailey Road, and ended up upside down in the water.  The Kelowna woman at the wheel was rescued by a resident, and was not injured.
