A Coldstream home has been consumed by fire. Flames rapidly engulfed the residence in the 8100 block of Stoneridge Drive just after 7:30 p.m. Monday. "In less than a minute, it just went up," said resident Brian Guy. Firefighters from Coldstream and Lavington responded to the scene, as did the RCMP who closed Stoneridge Drive off to traffic. Thick smoke covered the area and billowed down on to Kalamalka Lake. A cause has not been determined at this time. Look for more details online Tuesday at www.vernonmorningstar.com.
