Pursuant to Sections 185 and 187 of the Local Government Act, the
Regional District is providing notice that the
Regional District intends
to transfer to the District of Coldstream and the City of Vernon the
lands legally described in the lists in the links below. The transfer
of title to these properties is part of the restructuring of the Greater
Vernon Parks function whereby local parks will become the
responsibility of the local government in whose jurisdiction the park is
located. The consideration to be received by the Regional District for
the disposition of the properties is $1.00 and other good and valuable
consideration. The title transfers are proposed to take effect January
1, 2014 upon completion of all necessary documents for the parks
restructuring.
