Realtors Food Drive Next

North Okanagan Realtors will going door to door this Wednesday night, their 36th annual food drive. RE-MAX's Dawn Taylor says it'll actually start today. She says "We will go out to put bags to let people know that we will be in their area picking up food , and also it gives us an opportunity to see our route in the daylight." Last year 20 tons was collected in the area from Lumby to Vernon and Enderby. The main event will start at 5 Wednesday , looking for nonperishables like canned goods, boxed grains like rice and pastas and peanut butter. Anyone missed on the 4th can simply call any area real estate office to arrange pickup.
