ADVISORY PLANNING COMMITTEE REQUEST TO FILL ONE (1) VOLUNTEER VACANCY POSITION The Council of the Corporation of the City of Vernon is seeking to fill one (1) position on the Advisory Planning Committee - one (1) member from the community at large. The Committee’s purpose is to provide City Council with advice and recommendations on proposed land use and planning changes, and related matters. The Committee meets every two weeks on the Tuesday following Council’s Regular Meeting. If you are interested in serving the community on this committee, you may pick up a copy of the Terms of Reference and a volunteer application form at the reception desk at City Hall, or visit our website at vernon.ca/committees. Applications will be accepted at City Hall no later than 4:30 pm, Friday, January 31, 2014.
