Vernon and BX Swan lake fire crews were called out just before 4:30 this morning, not sure initially who had responsibility to fight a fire on Pottery Road. Turns out the barn burning in the thousand block was in city boundaries. Witness reports say as well as the structure there were a number of hay bales and some tires that burned. By 5 the barn was gone and crews were keeping the water on the hay and dousing hot spots.
