RDNO's Lumby rural director is ready for a further 4 years in office. Rick Fairbairn says he still has work to do for area D. He says"I have a number of projects which I am still passionate over to see through, and that's of course with the meat regulations." Fairbairn has held the post for 12 years and says he'll be filing his nomination papers shortly. Elsewhere,Enderby's incumbent mayor, Howie Cyr will be challenged by 5 term councilor Greg McCune.
