People are asking him to -- but it doesn't look like Wayne Lippert will run for mayor of Vernon. The city's former two term mayor was the runner-up at last weekend's Conservative federal nomination. "I got asked about running for mayor right after (the Conservative event), and I've been getting messages and phone calls, but right now I don't think so. I would never say never, but right now, I'm leaning towards the no side," Lippert tells Kiss FM. Lippert, who lost his job to Rob Sawatzky in 2011, says there's already five candidates expected to run, and he says he's got lots of other options to consider, other than politics.
