Several members of the regional district board feel its time for the governance squabble to end, but there's still no end in sight.The NORD board spent about 45 minutes discussing the issue at yesterday's meeting and in the end unanimously passed third reading of a bylaw outlining the powers of the GVSC.However, it now goes to NORD participants for comments, and concerns are expected to come back from Vernon and Coldstream.The city and Coldstream don't like the much talked about "section seven" which outlines what duties GVSC would not be responsible for.While Wayne Lippert and Pat Cochrane expressed concerns about the wording, fellow Vernon council member Patrick Nicol said he could live with it, adding its time to move forward.The issue is expected to be back before the NORD board at its meeting next month.
