Greater Vernon Services won't be knocking down any more birds nests.

Starlee Speers, Standard Radio News
Last week, workers wrecked a large Osprey nest on the DND land when they were replacing the lights. It's nesting season for birds and Vernon's Allan Brooks Nature Centre is reminding the public to leave nests alone. Walt Duncan with the Allan Brooks Nature Centre says, nests are nurseries. The birds rebuilt their nest on a neighboring light post and the GVS says they'll leave it alone.
