Pursuant to Section 227 of the Community Charter, the Council of the Township of Spallumcheen will give consideration to a proposed Permissive Tax Exemption Bylaw at their Regular Council Meeting, Municipal Office, 4144 Spallumcheen Way, Spallumcheen, BC on Monday, October 3rd, 2005 at 7:00 pm, for the following properties for the 2006 taxation year:

City of Vernon (O’Keefe Ranch)
Lot 2, DL 104, Plan 14176 exempt only to the extent of: 2 ha land, O’Keefe House, Cook’s Bunkhouse, General Store, Steam Pump, Buggy Shed, Dairy and Meat House, Original O’Keefe house, Blacksmith Shop, Red Shed, Cisterns 1 and 2

Don Quixote Note: I was surprised when I read the 5 year budget plan for the Okeefe Ranch new proposal that there was an item #5930 for property taxes in the amount of $11,500. It appears Spall gives tax relief for $1353 in 2007 and there is an additional requirement for $11,500 more. ??
