Vernon council , Doctors and Interior Health representatives will be meeting with BC's Health Minister George Abbott Friday afternoon. Councillor Barry Beardsell says, he thought it would be best if funding concerns for Vernon Jubilee Hospital were taken directly to the minister. "The IHA has limitations on it budget and so forth and the Health Minister is really hands on when it comes to his ministry." The meeting will be held at 3:30 at the hospital but it isn't open to the media or public.
