Lake City Casinos is rolling the dice. Just days after reaching labour peace with its 500 workers, the interior gaming operation is extending its hours. Lake City Casino, with outlets in Penticton, Kelowna, Vernon and Kamloops, will remain open until 4 a.m. beginning Sunday, June 1. Currently, the casino operates from 10 a.m. until 2 a.m. seven days a week. The extended hours will be in effect until October 31. Along with extended hours, the casino is also applying for extended liquor service in each facility. Currently, alcohol sales are available from 10 a.m. until 1 a.m. Lake City is asking that be extended until 2 a.m. because of the increased operational hours.

Don Quixote Note: If you check the Lake City Casino website the hours of operation for Vernon are still listed as Open daily from 10 am to 2 am. while Penticton, Kelowna and kamloops have hours listed as:* Summer Hours (June 1 to October 31): 10 am to 4 am.
