Vernon Budget Meetings- SCHUBERT Centre Tonight at 7 PM

Vernon city council and staff will be on hand at Paddlewheel Park Hall Monday evening for the first of two special public meetings on the 2010 budget. The meeting starts at 7pm. Council is seeking public input before the budget is approved. A two percent tax hike is in the works for Vernon property owners. That works out to about 21 dollars per average household. A second public meeting will be held tomorrow at the Schubert Centre.
