Antwerp Springs

The Ministry of Environment's Commercial-Environmental Investigation Unit has been called in to the probe of the Antwerp Springs water contamination. The water emergency last January left some Lavington residents without drinking water for weeks. The Kamloops-based unit deals with high profile environmental cases. Meanwhile, a separate consultant's report on the case has been completed but a North Okanagan Regional District official says it will not be made public until the Ministry probe is complete.
