There were some angry bingo players at yesterday's IPE in Armstrong. General Manager Bryan Burns says a BCLC Inspector showed up at the fair and there are some uncertainties about licensing. Burns says after a conversation with West Coast Amusements they decided to shut down bingo and the other games of chance, including the one run by the Lions Club. Burns says they're waiting for Lotteries to get back to them with a ruling. He says the 50-50 draw is continuing because they have a separate licence for it.
DON QUIXOTE VS. CITY HALL When an American gets mad, he says "where's my Gun". When a Canadian gets pissed off he says "Where is my pen, I'm going to send a letter to the EDITOR". When the EDITOR won't publish his letter he sets up his own BLOG page. When I received enough support to get a Council Seat the dogma of the establishment became : "Better to have him inside the tent pissing out, than outside pissing in." (Only time will tell !)
