While the ruling B.C. Liberals languish in public opinion polls, the B.C. Conservative party has added a prominent name to its tactical advisory group. Former Newfoundland and Labrador Conservative premier Brian Peckford, a resident of Qualicum Beach for 17 years, said in a release issued yesterday that he has joined the group because it is time for a new political voice in B.C. “The two parties in the legislature today have failed to provide British Columbia with the confidence needed to govern and have offended citizens with tax-and-spend policies,” said Peckford, 68. “The B.C. Conservatives will be a credible vehicle for change.” Former Reform and Conservative MP Randy White, chairman of the advisory group that hopes to guide the party out of the political wilderness, welcomed Peckford’s announcement, as did B.C. Conservative party president Wayne McGrath. The party nominated 24 candidates in the 2009 election but none were elected.

Being of the same age as these Old Farts pontifacting about a "NEW" political voice B.C., I think they should go back to their dictionary and look up the word "NEW".
1. not existing before
2. unfamiliar or unaccustomed
3. recently changed or renewed
The addition of Peckford to Willy Van Der and Randy White makes a mockery of their desire to provide something "NEW" in BC Politics.
As someone who is a little left of Attalla the Hun, I know what of I speak.
