A regular Thelma and Louise took a 19-year-old Vernon man for a ride, in his own car, last week and then left him on the side of the road. Police say the man had met the two women in a downtown bar and that they had offered to drive him home because he'd had a bit too much to drink. The man reported that the women took him to the Mission Hill area and, when he climbed out of his blue Volkswagen Jetta, they took off. The vehicle has not been recovered.Tuesday, March 22, 2011
Unusual Car Theft - Vernon man thought he'd made a couple of new friends
A regular Thelma and Louise took a 19-year-old Vernon man for a ride, in his own car, last week and then left him on the side of the road.
