Intersection Progress

Attention: open in a new window.

The Fruit Union plaza intersection at highway 97 and 25th avenue's 5 million dollar makeover is in the final stretch .  The transport ministry's Reid Drummond says they're planning some paving work this week, meaning continued lane closures, but the main paving is to be done at night.  But all that is weather dependant..  Drummond says they're both on time and budget.  When complete there'll be dual left turn lanes and the city will put a multi use pathway on the north side of Polson park.
