DON QUIXOTE VS. CITY HALL When an American gets mad, he says "where's my Gun". When a Canadian gets pissed off he says "Where is my pen, I'm going to send a letter to the EDITOR". When the EDITOR won't publish his letter he sets up his own BLOG page. When I received enough support to get a Council Seat the dogma of the establishment became : "Better to have him inside the tent pissing out, than outside pissing in." (Only time will tell !)

Vernon City Council Accomplishments 2007
Inspired by Mayor Wayne Lippert's comments to Sun Fm Mayor Looks Back at 2007 I have put his list of accomplishments on top of the list and have added a few more of my own: If you have any other accomplishments that you can think of, post in comments and I'll add to my list. I will then have a poll on the side to anoint the #1 accomplishment of this Council in 2007: LIST CLOSES ON Thursday at midnight.

Was less open and transparent than any previous mayor of recent times. Had longer meetings and less resolutions than ever.Operates best on the dark side. Created more committees than ever and achieved less than ever.Has created a whole new language-but it is one that most people can not understand.
